2. Data We Collect

Email address (opt-in only)

If you choose to subscribe to our newsletter or mailing list, we collect your email address via MailerLite, our email marketing provider. We do not collect email addresses from visitors who have not explicitly opted in.

Analytics data — Google Analytics 4

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors use our site. GA4 may collect:

  • Pages visited and time spent on each page
  • Approximate location at country and city level (not precise GPS coordinates)
  • Device type, browser, and operating system
  • Referral source (how you arrived at NoGymLab)

GA4 assigns an anonymous identifier to your browser session. No directly identifying information such as your name or email address is sent to Google Analytics.

Server logs — Vercel

Our hosting provider, Vercel, automatically collects server-side logs that may include your IP address, HTTP request headers, timestamps, and URLs requested. These logs are used for infrastructure operation, security monitoring, and debugging.

3. How We Use Your Data

  • Email: To send newsletters, tool updates, and content you subscribed to. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.
  • Analytics: To understand which tools and articles are most useful, identify performance issues, and improve our content.
  • Server logs: To detect abuse, diagnose errors, and maintain the security and performance of our infrastructure.

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or sale to third parties.

4. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)

For visitors in the European Economic Area (EEA), our legal bases for processing are:

  • Email: Consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). You may withdraw consent at any time by unsubscribing.

  • Email: Retained until you unsubscribe. Deletion is processed within 30 days of a valid unsubscribe request.
  • Analytics: GA4 default data retention is 14 months. You can opt out of GA4 tracking using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on or by adjusting your browser's cookie settings.
  • Server logs: Vercel retains log data for up to 30 days.
